Convoy to Newby Hall 22nd May.
Discussion
2011 Newby Hall 22nd May.
Cars in the park is a gathering of sports/super cars. Its more of a social gathering of like minded car enthusiasts than a traditional car event. Cars range from TVR, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Renault, Lotus, Maserati, MX-5, Smart Roadsters, mini, hot hatch the list grows every time. It Brings together large and small car clubs as well as individuals. It doesn't matter if its new, old, kit or modified. The variety always keeps the event interesting.
If people would like to join us for the run down to Newby Hall we are meeting at Wolviston Service station. Leaving 9.00am onto scotch corner service's
leaving 9.45am
If you could pm me so I have an idea of numbers traveling in the group.
Cheers Ryo

Ryo'Cars in the Park' along with many other events at Newby Hall throughout the year is advertised in the link I put up so should be OK but peeps should check if not sure.
Hope you have a good attendance. It's hard work arranging these events. It's a bit early to commit for me but will make it if at all possible.

I could be interested in this one.
The website suggests there is a list of allowed cars. The link doesn't work though. Has anyone seen the list? I'm just wondering how exclusive it is!

Obviously they dont really want boring rep mobiles, but if your unsure (like i was last time) give Chris a email, he's very helpful and will sort out where you need to be
It's up to you , you can park with similar make / model of car or alt, park up with a group of cars. Everyone is welcome. I attend each year with a group of mixed cars from Porsche to Kitcars.
Some great cars to look at with a nice ride down, what more could you ask for.
Cheers Ryo

It can be in any condition, just as long as it has a engine, and not ready to be shown in the scrap yard. You get a good mix of cars of all ages.
The event is getting bigger each year. I would recommend that you get a ticket as you really want to be on the field with everyone else.

Great! See you all at Wolviston services then.
Shall we try and park in that long "lay-by" section of the carpark behind the Premier Inn? You can line all the cars up there for some photos-
It quite clearly says TVR Parking Only. Plus the Tees Valley Region will be heading off from there as well.Shall we try and park in that long "lay-by" section of the carpark behind the Premier Inn? You can line all the cars up there for some photos-
