Karting minimum age limit?

Question say's it all really. I want to take my son racing, he's seven. Will I encounter any problems?

Yes but I can't remember what the minimum age is. I recall having to take my two quad biking because they were too young for karts. There are some tracks that do special child karts but they are fairground ride types.

Karting north east needs to be 16+ on the outdoor circuit, although the indoor track caters for 8-15 year olds as well...
