Guys, as a newbie to the area, I need a recommendation for a reputable place to get my morgan hood replaced.

That's it really, thanks for any tips

Kish next to the Sunderland Stadium of Light are excellent. Not the cheapest, but excellent quality.

Middlesborough (Dormanstown to be precise) any good for you ?
Maybe, certainly more convenient than Malvern!

When I had my Morgan the preferred option was the Simmonds easy fit hood. They seem to be still going strong: http://simmonds.uk.com/easyfit.html.

Anything better than the crappy vinyl that Morgan fit as OE.

There is, I haven't been able to speak to him yet, but I would be surprised if he does the work himself and probably passes it on to a local workshop. Hoping to get a direct recommendation in the meantime.

I am hoping to have the new hood made to my own design - creating more headroom for the back seats, I have contacted simmonds but they werent interested in the job, referring me to Allon Whites in Bedford.

Either way it would be a pain, as they often need the car for a couple of days to fit it all up. If I can get it done in the North east it would be helpful

Another vote for Kish. Everything I've seen of them has been spot on, and the work they've done for me has been superb. I've not seen any roofs done by them, but assuming they'll do them, it'll be first rate.

Never used them myself, but these guys see to have a constant stream of very nice classic motors coming in for trim.

Does anybody have any ball park figures for the cost of an interior re-trim for a two seater sports car? I'm probably going to get my seats done this summer, but the thought of getting new carpets, gaiters etc at same time has also crossed my mind.
