Hartlepool Classic and Performance Car Show

Any one from South Shields / Gateshead / Newcastle / Sunderland heading down there on Sunday, was thinking of maybe arranging to get a few people together and head down in a convoy if anyone is up for it ?

Thinking meet up somewhere like Whitemare Pool or possibly Asda Boldon / Cineworld carpark and taking a drive down from there ?

No paricular route there unless anyone can suggest something better than the A19 / A179

The local rag advertises as classic and performance, however the venue advertise as vintage car show, no more details other than whats here really

Boldon half a mile from Testos roundabout on the A19, near Cooper BMW, where are you based ?


Timewise, not sure, its free to get your car shown, Im heading down in a 360 (not mine sadly) so I am tempted to arrange to get the car into the show itself as your guarenteed a secure parking space.

So if we end up bieng part of the show, probably look at meeting half 8ish to get there just after 9, failing that will probably leave / meet up around 10am ish

I see where that is now, I commute to hartlepool twice a week and often get carved up on that A19 roundabout!

I'd be inclined to get into the display too for the same reasons, not sure if my morgan would be able to keep up with a 360, but 8.30ish would be doable

Gosforth, I'd probably be leaving about 8.15 - 8.30, should put me at bolden before 9 then hartlepool about 9.30 if taking a direct route - is there a scenic route?

Their second show of the year here is on tomorrow. First time they've had one in September so no idea what the turn out will be.
