Oh. Sorry. Didn't know it had / is changed.
I had mine done there maybe two years ago, and they were fine.
Yes have had loads done by them over the past 6 years but from what im hearing now people arent getting anywhere near the service they used to.

Have seen their work and it is top notch, not needed their assistance as I steer clear of kerbs wink so don't know what it's like after a while, but I don't live to far away and the business has grown somewhat since starting up, they're packed every day and unfortunately is plus VAT.

Got my Griff wheels done at the wheel specialists a month or so ago and can recommend them - very pleased! Ask to speak to Tony 0191 2866661.

Motorcool in Stockton are pretty good, from the examples i've seen. Although i couldnt point you in the right direction as i've never delt with them, quick google might find something.

I had a buckled wheel sorted out at Romax, on exiting i had a bloke there who was livid, made a mess of his wheels and strongly told me to avoid using Romax...

I had a set done by Romax - they were ok but not more

I have seen ones at Motorcool and they look good

they are in Thornaby (Stockton)

If you don't mind waiting, then Pristine Wheels in Milton Keynes are 2nd to none, I've had 2 sets done by them diamond turned, free collection and delivery and collect from your door. That's if you want any special finishes.

If its regular, then Tony at the wheel specialist is very good as i've said

Would any of the companies routinely lend wheels out while the damaged wheel is being refurbished?

Ive just had my 19's done at SEM. Paid 264 quid.

Top notch job. Dont mind paying a little more for a decent job. Fitted my new rubber too.

You will need to ring them for a proper quote, worth a phone call!

I have a vague recolection of them if its the place on North Hylton road, had an M3 with a set of split rims on that needed doing, the bloke wasnt very nice just gave me a ridiculous price instead of just saying no thanks I cant be arsed with anything awkward like them.. just my experience with them, I said Id never go back

Pristine wheels do an exchange service with Foxhunters tyres in Whitley Bay

http://www.foxhunterstyresandalloys.com/index.html

not listed on their website but we recently had a set of Range Rover Sport Supercharged rims done by them and they said that if it was a regular wheel we could of done an exchange via Foxhunters.
