Right where to start,

Four weeks yesterday my car was left on my sister in laws drive in sleepy Corbridge for a couple of hour's at Lunch Time, When I returned to the car the pictures below are what I came back to, Every pannel has been effected bar the front bumper,

I have not put it on here in the hope that the Police might just come up with something but sadly not, Ive been given a name of a guy who will remain nameless as there is no hard evidence but he is a lad I have never met so if he is the one there has been nothing personal at all in the attack, simply mindless vandalism,

I guess wrong place wrong time, I have no doubt that one day someone will brag about how they damaged a car, so basically all I'm asking is that everyone keeps there ears open and if you hear anything at all please let me know

As many of you will know this has not exactly been the luckiest car in the world after its engine fire a couple of years back. but that's certainly doesn't give anyone the right to damage someone else's property. Now my insurance is going to go crazy, gutted having now had 2 NONE fault claims in as many years.

It is now being fixed by the insurance,

GUTTED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, gutted for you mate. Is that paint stripper?

ETA. If it is paint stripper, that seems a bit thought through to me.

That is fking shocking. Some stupid s just can't take the fact that others work hard and can have nice things. I don't want to stereotype but I would not be surprised if he is from a low-income family and currently on some form of benefits. Probably thinks you have infinitely deep pockets and can just afford to repair whatever damage he does like it's no skin off your nose.

Looks like nail varnish remover (acetone) as it seems to have evaporated quite quickly.

Really sorry to see these horrible pics of such a beautiful car.

I will never be able to understand why scum damage cars like this.

Lock 'em all up.

It does seem really thought through but the strange thing is it was the first time it had ever been parked outside the sister in laws house in the 4 years Ive had it, Anyone having something against me would have a hunch where it would normally be parked but certainly not there,

Tris, Yes Ill be at the pub tomorrow lunch time. see you there or rather here lol.

I'm gutted for you!

Something doesn't seem to add up really. If it were mindless vandalism then perhaps it would have been keyed, or kicked in etc.

But to use paint stripper/nail varnish remover???? Surely it must be someone local to that area/street.

I'm sorry for you pal, hope the s get caught, but then if they do they'll only get a slap on the wrist at best.

That's awful.I'd be absolutely gutted if that was my car. It's a sad reflection on the state of this country today that scum who do things like that are not doing hard labour. If all they had to look forward to was breaking rocks and living on bread and water for the foreseeable they might think twice before doing that again. If they are capable of thinking at all. I hope you get it sorted.

Hey Dave!
Really sorry to see the car in that state!!

If the Police turn nothing up, which is, as you say, looking that way, then just get it fixed and move on.

You shouldn't have to, of course, as it's bloody annoying! but, life's too short to dwell on the antics of these jealous little muppets.

What a place this country's turning into!
I hope it gets repaired to a good standard.

PS. With regards to the nail-varnish remover comment, it wouldn't supprise me if it was a girl who did this. They're as bad as lads these days! (Only some of them obviously. I'm not anti-kid or anything!)

Well I wouldn't say that most girls go around with nail varnish remover in their handbags. That's why I said it could be someone very local to the area is it'll be something normally kept at home.

Has your sister had any barnies with anyone recently?
