Teeside Autodrome 18th March

to be honest i tend to find that there,s a lot of space on such a small track, people know its tight and give alot of time and space. also the car will only go as fast as your right foot lets it.
i did a lot of the track days last year and theres usually only 12-15 cars for the day and 5-8 cars on track at most. normally a lot less.
not to put a lotus on a track is a sin. its what they were built for.
just make sure you have track insurance for the day if you have an expencive car.
if youv never had a go, its great, and a good bit of legal hooliganism.
take it easy

I've done a few ring trips with my old Exige and agree its fantastic however I prefer to have a cheap trackday hack that if the worst happens its easily sorted out and wont break the bank. The Exige is a cracking road car as well so not entirely wasted i did a lot of the track days last year and theres usually only 12-15 cars for the day and 5-8 cars on track at most. normally a lot less.

Hi mate, is your Atom the black and white one with rear wing? If so, I was there last September, when you were there (pouring in morning but, lovely in the afternoon!). I was in the Global GT1 (pic in my profile).george.
Was a good afternoon. We spoke briefly when we came in. Have you had yours supercharged yet? I'm just starting to gather some bits for mine and am aiming for the April day. See you there soon no doubt!
Ha, yeah, when mine works, it works well. Just a bit hitty-missy. Getting there now though.
Can't wait to see yours go with the supercharger on! It wasn't exactly lacking power anyway, was it?!
See you later.
Edited to add : Great little local track this, so show your support everyone! Cheap as chips too!

Here's me at Teesside in my Elise. This was my first track day and I had no problems, just kept out of the way of the faster guys. Great day.

Get yourself on Swampy!
They're good days. Well run but laid back. For example there's no noise testing, which may usually be a problem with a TVR. If you were stupidly loud you'd be pulled in mind but, like I say it's laid back.
I can understand your worries about taking a good road car on track though. I wouldn't take mine on as it's getting old/quite rare now but, lots of people do. Just watch your mirrors and don't get caught up in any macho bks.
