I've had an idea to start a thread like this. Basically, share and let everyone know about upcoming motoring events and meets in the area (not too far away). Such events as Croft, Malton meet, etc etc

So to set the ball rolling there is

Yorkshire Big Breakfast - Easter Sunday, 24th April 2011

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...

So what events do you know about that's happening soon?

www.juicydetailing.co.uk and www.dieseltuninguk.com are holding an open day tomorrow (Sat 5th March) at their HQ in Tanfield Lea, details from the site below, see you there!

2nd Official Juicy Detailing Open Day

Saturday 5th March 2011

 10am - 5pm

11C Tanfield Lea North Industrial Estate, Tanfield Lea, Co. Durham DH9 9UU

Back by popular demand I have organised another open / detailing day to be held at our premises on the above date.

We will run the day along the same lines as the last one as requested weather permitting.  During the morning we will run through pre-wash, washing and drying techniques. Demonstration regarding claying a vehicle and the benefits of why.

Discussions on various products such as pre-wax cleansers, polishing by hand, different waxes available on the market, etc.

In the afternoon we will demonstration the use of a dual action polisher (DAS6) and various different pads and polishes available on the market and progress on to rotary polishing.

You will have the chance to put these demonstrations into practice if you wish later in the day.

Last time the day didnt finish until 11/12pm so be prepared for it to run on longer than the above time!

Food and non-alcholic drinks will be provided and we have ample parking for quite a number of cars (please think of other busines users however that may be around that day as well, eg do not park in front of their unit doors).

Last time we also had washing facilities for you all with use of snow foam and lance, buckets, shampoo and mitts (ideally please bring along your own drying towels as we will not have sufficient for everyone or that would be dry).

If you have any specific requests on what you would like to see on the day let me know by emailing me. I am here for you to learn more about how to take care of your cars so I can discuss / demonstration the majority of your requests

This event is open to all whom wishes to attend including any car clubs.

I'm already looking forward to this....its going to be another good day....see you all there

Did i not hear that it'd had been moved back to the end of January due to their problems with 'noisy days'.
