Back in the north !! What's happening, where to go ?

Evening all, just moved back to South Shields after 10 years of living in London, used to visit places like the Ace Cafe, Brands Hatch, for meets and events, anything like that around here these days?

I remember back in the day the max power generation used to gather at Morrisons in Seaburn, any big cruises still go on ?

Welcome back to the NE, hope your plans work out.

Not really sure what the max power lot get up to, dont seem to hang around here much. There is however a great community spirit these days on NEPH. Theres around a dozen or so of us regulars who meet up for drives/events/days out, and around another 20/30/40 who attend regular organised drives out, a great bunch stretching from Northumberland/Borders down to Teesside/N Yorkshire, great guys, very friendly, and genuine enthusiasts.

Check out here for organised drives out, I tend to organise them from time to time which seem to be growing in popularity, so do a few others, most are open to any cars, but with a few basic rules to ensure they're safe and enjoyable for members to attend.

Cheers Sean, sounds like a fair bit happens up here then, would I be right in saying the mx5 nuts lot are pretty prominent up this way to ?

Also I'm currently not working at the minute so if there's anything that can be done to assist with events/meetings ect give me a shout as I have plenty of time on my hands !

I'm not involved with mx5 nuts, but I know from other members they are active in the area.

Feel free to organise any drives out, there's usually a good response from the good folk on here, the last few I've done have been filled up to capacity in no time.

The drives that I do are posted purely on NEPH (here), have tried multiple and different forums in the past but things got messy, so these days, yes, they're posted purely on here.

Just wanted to say that Sean organises some brilliant NEPH drives out. A really friendly bunch and no crazy driving.

Having only owned my car since the summer I have only been able to make one of them so far (Holy Island - July) but the photos and videos from the other ones look equally fun!



There are a couple of loud Monaros VXRs and TVR 350s that I am hoping to see at the next one!
