Road conditions please

Am due to be travelling to Seaton Carew from Essex tomorrow (back on Sunday) but am a bit worried about the weather forecast.

I know no-one can predict whether it'll snow or not but what are the road conditions up there at the moment?

I'll be coming up A1, A168, A19 and A689.

Roads at the moment are fine.

Not much snow yet and it hasn't stuck to the roads.

The snow is due tonight, all day tomorrow and Saturday so it may be a bit premature at the mo.

What you driving up in?
I just wrote off my VXR8 this afternoon on the A689 in Hartlepool.

A19 from Stockton down to Thirsk was alright tonight, but Stockton had some black ice in places as did Thirsk.

I did see a few gritters out on the A19 and also the back roads around Thirsk though, so at least they're (kind of) ready for it!

I suppose unless we get a big dumping of the white stuff they'll be clear just a bit icey. (As Lexx seemingly found out )
