Subaru specialists near York?

Hi all,

Does anybody know of any Subaru specialists near York who could look at my car? My engine management light has come on and kwik fit seem to think I have to take it to Subaru themselves or a specialist, however, looking at google I can't seem to find any near York.

what subaru is it? if its an older model you can check the flash coded by plugging in 2 connectors in the footwell. it will flash up a code which can then be deciphered using a table.

it happened to me and i got a genuine knock sensor from import car parts for half the price of the £110 a dealer wanted.

What year car is it? If its a classic, you can read the code yourself by joining two plugs under the dash, and self diagnose your problems.
