Any Local Rally Teams?

HI Everyone,

Wondering how to get myself on the way to doing some rally driving over the next few years. I've been told a good route to go down is to volunteer to help out a local rally team to help out and see what it's like and make inroads into the crowd.

I'm looking into automotive engineering over the next few years too so it will help alot!

Does anyone know anybody who can help out a local PH'er?

A good place to start is by joining a local motor club, this way you get to meet like minded people who are always looking for a helpful pair of hands to either marshal or service.

It's been a long time since I was a member of a club, but there's Tynemouth and District Motor Club, Wickham and District MC, Darlington and District MC, and many more no doubt.

may be a bit further from you (not sure where in the north you are) but North Yorkshire Motorsport Social club meet every wed at the motel leeming, most are rally people from base club stuff to proctor and his subaru WRC, great way to meet and have a chat to those doing it i'm sure you'd pick up a lot of info and contacts

Also jonny milner is doing a talk next week, should be good!
