2 bucket car washes in Newcastle

Hey,

I posted a good few months ago asking where to get cars washed from in Newcastle without them leaving swirlies on the paintwork. I have been taking my car to North East Detailing in Chester-Le-Street, but has anyone found a good one closer to Newcastle yet?

My cars only been washed 3 times in the last 4 months or so; needs done badly!

With the exception of NE Detailing, not sure I'd trust anyone other than myself to give the car a hand wash, I'd definitely not hand the keys over to any of the 'wash while you shop' set-ups which have appeared over the last few years. The biggest fear I have is of the plastic 'blades' being used to get rid of excess water, lethal things.

A big Roger on both of those, wash while you shop are for lazy couldn't give a toss barstewards.

The other week, I just finished 2 hours of washing, cleaning, and waxing the car, drove 5 miles up town into a multi story car park, to be greeted with a yoof with a sponge in his hand "Do ya wan ya car washed mate?", "First I am not your mate, and secondly NO".

If they can't tell a clean car from a dirty one, not point having them clean it anyway.

I wash mine two or three times a year
