Went through Jedburgh today (Sat) en route to and from Edinburgh. Went up to meet me Julie's dad who hails from Montrose; he got the train down and we met him for a beer and haggis, neeps'n'tatties....
Amazed at how quiet Edinburgh was; no trouble parking, little traffic (for a big town)... lots of beggars and teenage goths though, for some odd reason. Must be the weather.
How was it for you, Bob?

The car's bloody muddy, looks like it's been on an off road event. Mud filled potholes on the single track roads to the B&B. There's a heck of a lot of cameras on the main routes but I wasn't pushing it due to the torrential rain. Just a general hoon around, got as far north as Stirling and climbed the monument. Came back along the east coastal route via Holy Island and Bambrough. Lid off under the Tyne to finish the weekend off.
