Teesside Autodrome endurance karting

After reading a bit about about Teesside Autodrome, I have heard they run some endurance karting events.

The web site below lists 6 hour, 10 hour and 24 hour races.

Do the drivers need a race license (what has to be done to obtain the pro racer card?)?
Am I correct in thinking for the a 6 hour race at Teesside, its £200 to enter and £700 for the kart hire?

Are there any other options to get 5 or 6 friends together and race as a team against other teams for a number of hours?
