As a 15 year participant at this circuit albeit a while ago...I'll be there. Nostalgia has got the better of me.

Please make it if you can.

Had a great day today, Saturday...looking forward to tomorow. May decide to do some track days. Met all my 'old' pals from the seventies. Great fun and a nostalgic adrenalin rush. Must go to Croft more often in future.

Was a great weekend.

Yesterday was fun, if wet, but that just made for some interesting racing / qualifying.

Only managed to make it down for a few hours this afternoon.

I hope they decide to run it again next year and they build on the success of this year.

Good morning

Nice action shots above, well done.

The Nostalgia Weekend at Croft Circuit was amongst the best two days entertainment I’ve had for a long time. It was well organized and well attended. It was obvious that everyone had a great time. I hope this event will take off and get even better over the years. Hopefully it will be the North’s equivalent to the Goodwood Revival event.

I took 241 photos. Here are a few to give you a flavour of the day. My experience was very personal and meeting a lot of my fellow drivers from the seventies, along with being asked to present one of the trophies, was very rewarding and seemed an appropriate way to seal the period in my memory.

If you couldn’t make it this year you really should be there next year. The racing was excellent. I hope I have captured the atmosphere. This post only represents a very small part of the total event. You need to experience it first hand. I understand there were over 200 classic cars present and 6,000 spectators.

It actually belongs to a friend's daughter but she suffers from epilepsy and can't drive. So she bought it and her Dad drives it.

And no, we haven't met.

When's the next breakfast meet?

I've been told by Malton that their next event is Octoberish. The date will be announced nearer the time.

There's a write up in the current Autosport Magazine (August 12th) with pics, over 2.5 pages, regarding the Croft Nostalgia Event.
