Any suggestions of fun things to do in the day. The night time is rather obvious.

Where in the NE - it's a big spot?

If you want karting Langbargh [sp] in 'boro is the best circuit.

If you're wanting something in/nearish Newcastle, the kart place in Dunston is quite fun as indoor tracks go. Even has bridge.

sorry, have I offended you by saying I want to have my stag do in Newcastle? Very odd!

Re karting ne, quite fancying their karting and speedball thing as not all my mates are into karting being rather tall.

Anyone recommend paint ball place. Had looked at clay pigeon but seems expensive for time you get shooting!

Mark, you doing any teeside trackdays soon. I was going last month but had to work on the friday. My mate went along and had a great time.

I'd still do Boro TBH. The karts are twin engined (60mph) and the circuit is also used for car sprints and TDs it's that big. It's only 45mins away from Durham by car.

Never heard of that place. Will look into it. Normally go to karting ne so would be good to try somewhere different.

Not offended, no. Not that odd either if you worked in the centre of Newcastle and come Thursday/Friday saw the amount of Stag/Hen groups that descend on the place. Clogging up the bars, getting in the bloody way...

Anyway, don't know if it's any good, but here's a paintball place:

Considering I spend most of my weekends drinking/ socialising/ going to theatre/ going to gigs/ cinema etc in Newcastle, I am well aware of the issues with Stag and Hen dos, but considering the amount of my income which has been put into Newcastles coffers by my disposable income, I feel I have as much a right to have my stag do there than most, and why it is rather obvious to me the places I would like to visit on said Stag do. Ie, the places the usual stag and hen dos dont go!

Thanks for the advice on the paintball. Im leaning towards that at the moment.

The karting track is great, been a couple of times.

One of the lads at work went to a stag do, karting and paintballing the weekend before last and said the whole thing was a great laugh, especially when they got the stag and best man to take on the rest in a free for all

There seems to be more variation in zones at the one Shoggoth posted, but the TOH guys had a good time at Slaley for Zeb's birthday a while back if you want to get a comparison on costs. Facilities were quite basic; as were the refreshments (we went to a local pub for food & drink afterwards.) They also do quad biking, clay pigeon shooting etc. there too if you're feeling energetic!

They let me into some of the areas to take pictures which was great - I count myself lucky that I only got hit once in the crossfire!

I know it's not the NE, but this one looks "fun" - I've heard the Predator is quite ruthless if you manage to hit him!
