Hello again,

well sadly its that time when the tyres on the car and bike need to be replaced,

where is the best to go to in middlesbrough? or is it still better to just buy from Black circles/camskills and get somewhere to fit them?

if so, where is a decent place to take tyres to get them put on?

cheers Adam

I've found Cannon Park Tyre exchange seem to be a good set of lads. They seem to be able to get me a good set of part worn ones (cheepo i know i am!) when i go.

C&S Tyres is very well respected among car enthusiasts. Their prices are competitively too. I have trusted their people with my cars for over 10 years now and they are happy to price match.

I got a good deal and well-balanced wheels from Teesdale Tyres, just near TFM and The Dubliners in Stockton.

I have had tyres fitted from both C&S tyres in Middlesbrough and Platinum Tyre Services in Stokesley onto the TVR.

I have also used North Eastern Tyres and Exhausts at Longlands without any issues as well.

another vote for Tyre exchange at Cannon Park, there fitting & balancing machines are best by far. Good service too. Not sure they do bikes but I use National tyres in Redcar for my last bike tyre change.

I used C & S for years, but the last time I went to them they buggered up one of my locking wheel nuts by being stupid with the air gun.

Have been going to Derek Campbells for years as well.

Went to C&S today, they were very busy but customer service was brilliant.

Was about a 40minute wait so took a short walk into town.

Price :O i was shocked. Last time i got falkens on my old estate it was 140 a pair from camskill then had to pay to get them fitted, C&S did everything included for £115

Top service and price, will go back there for my motorbike tyres!

Cheers everyone

(also met a guy who does saloon car racing and is racing at croft next weekend i think he said, anyone off here? forgot to ask if he was on PH)

Yep, penalty of being popular I guess. I usually plan my visits to fit in their less busy times
