V8 friendly MOT station

Hi folks.
As the title implies, does anyone know of a decent garage that has experience of testing V8 engined cars?

Anywhere in the NorthEast is fine, as long as they have comfy chairs and a coffee machine

I use R&P Woods in Heaton for mine... know their stuff but no coffee of chairs!

Well, I'm based on the outskirts of Sunderland, but like I said, as long as they can test the car while you wait, I don't mind travelling a little. It'll give the cats a chance to warm up

I had mine done at the dealership where I work, they have experience of testing mine

I used one on Brunswick airport industrial estate for my 1988 944. They do all the mot work for my friends garage around the corner and came reccommended. They are the same site as LA taxis and have all the work on for servicing and MOT-ing all the fleet. As a result of this they don't need to persecute motorists at Mot time to drum up more business.

I've got no affiliation with them at all, just got great service from a knowledgable and down to earth tester and change from £30 too. I had an advisory on my rear brake disc thickness and was told that some garages may have failed me on it but as it sailed through the braking efficiency test and was obviously looked after he was happy.
