TD4 Remap in the NE?
Discussion
Hi
I'm considering having our 54 plate Freelander TD4 Sport re-mapped to release some of the GGs that are undoubtedly there.
Recently replaced the intercooler hoses for silicone which made quite a difference, and I'm now thinking a remap will also help.
Not looking for wild performace gains, just a few more horses/torque for towing, smoother pull away and a little mpg improvement....all of which I have read are achievable with a remap.
Just looking for recommendations of reputable outfits really, and I'mm looking for a remap rather than a tuning box.
Cheers
Andy

Wonder if the silicon hoses switch would have similar benefits on my Freelander2. Do you have a link to the company you got them from?
I was told by an LR technician, that the Diesel in the Freelander would go forever if treated nicely, but would not respond well to lots of high revving. Not entirely sure how true that is, but it's always put me off thrashing the thing - although it does feel really gutsy if you catch it right.
Cheers.
