Guys,

For any of you guys (or your friends and relatives) who are frustrated Rock Stars (like me) and always fancied being in a band - there is hope here in the North East!

I went on a course with these guys - it's basically a RockScool course for adults (over 18's only) - and it brings together a bunch of people of mixed/no ability and puts them together to play together in a band - and perform on stage within three months!

I am going to do it again - so if you know anyone who either can play or sing - or WANTS to try or learn - then point them to this course - it was excellent fun and a great stress buster - there were people who came who couldn't play (or sing!) a note but they wewr Rockstars by the concert! So if you know anyone who fancies playing the drums, Bass Guitar, Guitar or who wants to sing - tell them to have a look.

Yeah - you get a bit of choice in what you want to play - as well as some weeks for certain genres - we did punk one week - Sex Pistols - and some others wanted to do more punk - so I'm sure there would be a receptive group there for you!
