Engine Builder required, CVH race bottom end
Discussion
Hi guys,
I hope someone can help me. I'm 'assembling' a ford CVH with a very special head and camshafts.
I need someone to build the engine for me though. It'll need someone who knows what they're doing, there'll be machining of the piston crowns to be done to avoid interference, but it's going to be tight!
i really need someone experienced.
I've had some suggestions, and I know some machinists who say they can do it, but no-one is willing to take responsibility for getting it right and do the final assembly.
All ideas gratefully received.
Thanks, Stephen

Alternatively can try AAS in Newcastle they are always building engines everytime I go in and recently took mine to bits and put it back together!
They would probably pass the work on to Jeff anyway as Ford race engines are pretty different from their normal tackle. AAS and Jeff work pretty closely.Edited by Hedgetrimmer on Saturday 8th May 12:04
