Garage/workshop/storage wanted

Hey, I have a MR2 MK1 that I'm restoring and I have been renting a garage off the council to store it in before I'm ready to do any major work. but sicne the garage is like a mile away from my house and it has no power I'm going tohave to spend £250 on a generator capable of running a welder. Since the car cost me £250 I'm kinda hoping I won't have to do that. Also the garage JUST fits the car so there is no room to work on it inside so I'd have to take it out to work (a pain in the arse sinc eit depends on weather and if anyone bhes I could lose my garage).

I'm just wondering if anyone know of anywhere around Hartlepool where I could store/work on my car. I can't really find nything online except one place in Sunderland that is £80 a week, sounds perfect for me (car lift, room for 2.5 car, power, welding equipt etc) but that's WAY out of my price range for now, my current garage is like £4 a week.

Anyway if anyone knows anywhere I can get what I'm after of if anyone is interested in the one I mentioned (splitting costs) then I'd love to know.

sorry i cant help but im looking at renting/buying a normal garage, theres loads around my way which dont seem to be used, did you just ring up the local council and ask which ones they had free nearest you?

Ive looked into the garage situation in or around Hartlepool a few times as some point in the future im going to need a garage to put my car in, the council ones are way too small and I would need a double one that is highly secure however everytime ive searched nothing has came up.

I have my council garage right now but I need something bigger, I don't like the idea of working in open air like I'll need to but I just wanna get working on. Stuck in Bangkok right now however so I'm not really worried as I can't do anything till I'm home
