Hyena comedy club

Off for a night out to the Hyena on saturday night for a mates 30th and just wondered if anyone had been recently and if it was any good. Going with a few couples,then possibly into the night club after for a few more beers. Does the £12 ticket actually get you a free drink or anything or is it purely entry into the Hyena then the club after?
Also the OH wants to drive so where would be the best place to park safely,preferrably not too far away, is The Gate the only choice?

Yes I'd probably park at the Gate if I had to drive there.
