There was a number of different threads started last year spotting marked and unmarked cops across the region. So can we make this the main post for such sightings Anything cop related that fellow PistonHeaders spot, or should know about then report it in this thread . Here's to a safe and cop-free 2010 everyone

Unmarked blue Volvo - Kingsway, Team Valley, yesterday afternoon (he is there quite regularly too)

I would be more bothered about the scamera van that keeps popping up in the layby on Blind lane Chester Le Street, just after the 40 down to 30mph zone, think they would have caught a few yesterday...I would actually like to see them there more often, will slow the white vans and charva`s right the way down...I think these people forget that people actually have to live there...Some prick in a charved up Saxo overtook me after it goes to one lane on the same road the other day...

There's a white Fiat 500 with an NX09 plate, saw it in Billingham with a copper in a stabby. Guessing they're using it as an unmarked beat car, like they do with the Focuses... but worth keeping your eyes open.

Are you sure it was a copper? I thought it was sensible for everyone to wear a 'stabby' in Billingham

See that regularly in the Derwentside area and it played a part in a big ANPR op recently in Stanley.

It is, and it's also wise for them to watch out for the Scameras that randomly park along Central Avenue. People seem to forget it's a 30 limist as it's dualled... nick, nick...
