hello fellow cainers, I hope this is an appropriate subject to post on this forum...anyway - being of modest means I was wondering whether any PHers had a small van or large estate car..and also whether they would be willing to employ it to help me get some stuff out of storage (fridge/freezer + couple of boxes) in the next few weeks. I am of course willing to provide beer tokens, donation to charity (or free financial advice for the suckers out there!) I had a word with the removal co and they want £200+ to deliver it to my house - it's only 6 miles!

Thanks

Don't really see it fitting in the back of the Marlin. I'm afraid I don't have such a vehicle. My Frontera is SWB and has less room in the back than my son's Clio.

I have a bracket on the back but you're right, it wouldn't

You can hire a van from Westburn Service Station for £30, I'd be willing to lend man power if needed (or dexy can't help).

just thinking about it, if the westfield reversed and I drove forwards, we could balance the stuff over the 2 cars.

Where from and where to? I can accommodate a 3-piece suite in my van (just). Max load 900Kg, towbar in the next week if all goes according to plan...
