As per title really.

We're in a group of 3 cars with Speed Chills this year as I hear good things. We're on the Bleu Sud site. Will be my 3rd time but taking a few LM virgins- really looking forward to seeing their reactions to it. I'm heading down from Whitley Bay on the Tues for a early Wed crossing (probably tunnel).

Will we be seeing anyone from round these parts over there?

North East TVR boys will be in Houx again this year, feel free to drop in for a beer if you see us. My Tuscan and Tim's lambo green sagaris should make us easy to find.... drink

Anyone know a good place to camp in Kent ready for a fairly early crossing?

Any tips for camping somewhere towards Calais on the Sunday night?

Cheers, Ed.

Ed

We've used the Ashford Travelodge for the last couple of years, only 20 mins from Dover and a good rest-point. Doesn't cost too much especially if you grab one of the discounrted rooms and you'll be much fresher for your crossing. Do you really want to be packing a potentially wet tent up before heading to an early ferry..?

There are loads of options on the outskirts of Dover (including B&B's) and won't cost that much more than a camping pitch.
