Annoyingly where I work my car wont go on the ramps (front bumper wont clear it) for an MOT so cant get it done, can anyone recommend a good place that wont trash about in ppls cars? Not due till early in the new year but could do with getting it sorted as im away for a few weeks shorlty.

Cheers

Had great service from Penshaw MOT Centre, Mount Pleasant, Washington. The've MOT'd my Elises without any hassle, I know of friends who've taken TVRs Cobras and other less common cars. They know what they need to find out, and do not mess about with your car.

I recommend them highly.

Try Redline Racing, Teesside Ind Estate, Thornaby. Ask for Darren and tell him Carl with the 996GT2 recommended you/them. They have an agreement with Mike McKenna's in the town, Darren deals with the test from start to finish using their MOT Bay which caters for ultra low vehicles. wink

Another Big Thumbs Up for RLR in Thornaby, just had my RS MOT`d by them through Mike Kenna`s, spot on service, Darren does not let your car out of his sight

You could try Gary Potts Motors in Durham City, a real enthusiast, very cheap, all new equipment in his Garage

He also has around 4 different Lotus's in his Garage at the moment & a couple of 205 GTI's which is his hobby..

He is the only spannerman I know who wears Sparco's everyday ...
