Tyre disposal. How? Where?

I have a tyre that's been cluttering up my garage for a while. What is the best/cheapest way to get rid of it?

On the remote chance that someone needs a single Kumho Powermax 790, you can have it for free. It's a 205/60 R15 V-rated tyre with very good tread left on it (but as previously stated it has been lying in my garage for about a year).

If no-one wants it, most council recycling centres have a tyre dumping area where you can just drop it off.

Stick it on ebay, you may get a few quid for it.

Thanks guys. I had already thought about eBay but, to be honest, I can't really be bothered with all the hassle for what I'd get for it. I'll look into the council recycling places.
