MOT South Shields

I'm up North for a few weeks and need to get the Z4 MOT'd.
Can anybody reccomend a good carefull garage in South Shields to do the test?
I need to be able to walk back in to town so can't be too far out.

I use Leighton Street Motors behind Fowler Street.

Always been fair and decent with me - lax with charging for retests, allowing me to take the car away to repair things that aren't on the official freebie list etc.

Quay MOT in Hebburn is where I get the Lotus done, bit out of your way, but they are quick and have SKY to keep you entertained while you wait

i'm from south shields and take mine to little bills at washington, have done for years and never had any problems, other than there try stans on commercial road

Just seen that Nationwide Autocentres have a half price offer through the Autotrader and will do a few free checks on the AC/Brakes.
I may give them a go as they are in Shields too - Station Road
