Any good upholterers?

Looking to swap the centre trim pieces from my current seats into the centre panels of a pair of Evo Recaros.

Spoken to the usually good and reasonable Autotrimming nearest me, and they have quoted frankly silly money, more than the Recaros cost to buy!

Anyone know of a quality auto upholsterer that will do a good job and not require me to hand over my eyes?

NE Trimmers in Byker are used by a few on here, although they were supposed to be getting back to me with a price for mine, but they havent so far.

You can try this guy, Able Coach Trimmers,(Chris) 07950 844881. He is based in a small unit in Seaham, low overheads which is reflected in his prices. He's done two cars for me in the past and just done a motor bike seat for one of the lads at work. I'm going to see him tomorrow to discuss my latest project, but here's a few pictures of what he did on my smart car, black leather and green alcantara.

Best bet is to call in and speak to the woman who does the work.

Its over an hour each way to Byker, so bit of a trek if they are not open and/or give me a bonkers quote though.

Be nice if I could speak to someone first.

I've also heard good things about kish, not used them myself though but know people who have.

My Dad has used Kish for a full retrim of his interior (Well, everything apart from the carpet and headliner) in his Lotus Elan +2. It's a top job they've done. Can get pics if you want.

In addition to what I said earlier about what they did/didn't do, the dashboard etc was done elsewhere. Otherwise it's the seats, transmission tunnel cover, door cards, rear panels and parcel shelf.

He is very difficult to get a hold of, you could try sending him a text so when he does switch his phone on he can give you a call. Worth the effort of tracking him down as he does a good job at a fair price.

Ok, got to speak to Chris today, he's had problem with his mobile. His new number is 07834 368113, it works, I've spoken to him on it.
