Hi guys, I'm looking for your suggestions/recommendations for good restaurants in Durham City, looking for something within walking distance of the centre ideally.

Cheers yum

Depends what you like.

there are plenty of Italians, An excellent Thai ( Zen), A great british Pub that serves very good food ( The Court Inn), the chain Spanish Tapas place which was good when I went there.

Look on the tinter-web, on your computermebob, for details of the names, but all are within easy walking distance of the city centre.

Its such a small city.

The City has seen a huge improvement in the last couple of years, and there is plenty of choice.

Some good pubs too, if you just want to wander around and have a few glasses of 'Babycham'. ( Lotus drivers tipple)

Went for a meal at the Pump House, just outside Durham but food was excellent! Place is really nice as well!

2nd that. I've been there a few times and it's always been good. It's a bit of a walk from the centre of Durham though.
