Parked up at my girlfriends aunts house and a neighbour came to the door to say that someone has hit my car... i will put pics up soon, basically they have cracked the rear clam above the wheel arch and then on the strange flat part of the car above the wheel acrch, there is a really deep 2 part scratch there too. Will go take pics now.
Just looking for somewhere to fix it?

Will post better pictures when i find my camera.
I have rang police but they said they wont do any more, they have logged details.
Rang recycling and waste removal companies to report it to them as its clearly a truck of some sort that has hit it, and it looks like the exact same blue that the recycling companies use.

Hi Bob,

I've got a really good bodyshop but not that close to you.

Is it insurance or are you paying for it?

Probably around £200 I would have thought.

Pretty difficult to see the extent of the damage in the pics though.

Great thanks Dan!

I will try to get some better pictures tomorrow in the day light as obviously its hard for you to give a quote without actually seeing the damage.

Where are you based these days?

Based in Consett now.

The bodyshop I use is just outside of Stanley so only 5 minutes from me.

Cheers

Most decent body shops will be able to repair it... I always take my car to my mate's garage (Paintworx - at Killingworth) spot on job as always, my lass just had her bonnet resprayed, and you wouldnt even know it was done

Thanks.
It was one of those skip rat people that hit it, there is a skip in the end of the road and apparently it was one of the trucks that has a look for scrap metal etc- Two women in the corner house saw it and heard the crash but didnt get the plate as they drove off like a shot.

I hope so, my car will be heading to your Dad's place any day now, as soon as insurance situation is clarified.
