Somewhere For a Good Old Fashioned Tune-Up

Hi There,

Does anyone know anywhere in the North East that could give my old mini a Crypton tune-up? Also, is there anywhere that could rebuild a carb?

I would definitely recommend I&J MacDonalds in Lanchester. Can't think of anywhere better to do that sort of work.

Hawk tune in ryhope are very good at what they do. The owner jeff is very anal about cars leaving in a perfect state of tune! Did a hell of a job with my old mk1 golf after I " tinkered" with it

i've spent thousands in both these garages, G&W are tetchy but good mechanics, and I&J are very nearly the perfect old school garage... if you can afford it
