Can anyone recommend a garage or mobile unit in Newcastle that can do a full cleans of my air con system. It smells pretty awful and I have changed the pollen filters and used a number of canisters but this has not worked.
BMW have a machine which directs the cleaner into the system for a longer period of time but they want £75!.

I was informed yesterday of a way to get the air conditioning system to burn off the bacteria from the evapourator. You run the aircon on recycle at full blast and the coldest setting for 10 mins. Then immediately run on the hottest setting for 10 mins. The latter part of the process kills the bacteria.
It has worked brilliantly on my car with the smell going completely. I am going to repeat this process periodically.
