Can anyone recommend a garage with skills/experience of working with bike engined cars. I've spoke to a couple of bike dealers/service centres and they were not interested in touching any car, even if it has a bike engine in it.

If you join or come along to Cleveland Car Club meeting (this Monday 8th, Stainton Inn, Stainton.) theres several members with bike engined cars who would help/point you in right direction.

Nothing yet, I've got my eye on a bike engined '7' type car and just want to know if there is anyone around who could service/repair as and when the need arises.

Ah!
I've had my BEC Indy on the road for just over 3 years now.
During the build / pre-sva I used R & P Woods to set the emissions on the engine, give it an MOT style exam prior to the SVA.
Since then R & P have been willing to do "car" bits on it (i.e. diff / brakes etc) / MOT tests.
But to be honest all of the rest of the work, oil changes, plugs, engine swaps, etc has been done at home.
They are pretty simples to work on.
