Especially around Middlesbrough, Teesside Park, Darlington bits, wheres its 30-50mph, be warned!

There is an undercover Audi Police Car!

Its grey/silver

Saw it at the side of the road with a golf infront last night, loads of blues and twos on coming out various cubby holes.

Its stupid to speed on the road anyway, but for those who do, beware.

I got my one and only ever speeding ticket there (A66 Teesside Park area) the year that they changed the limit from 70mph to 50mph after about a year of roadworks. It was a lovely sunny evening and my wife was talking to me and must have distracted me and I was doing about 65mph when I suddenly saw a police car behind me with its lights on!! Pulled me over actually on the dual carriageway and the cop told me that he was 'under strict instructions to 'do' everyone that was speeding on this stretch of the A66'.

Yeah, that whole section is 50mph because the slip roads are not long enough to let people get to 70mph apparently.

My mate got pulled in the exact same circumstances.

Some people would need a mile to get up to 70 anywhere. rolleyes

There's no excuse these days really, with the performance that modern cars (and vans) have....just a lot of people don't use it, and end up causing chaos every time they come off a sliproad at 40. My pet hate. mad

there is a guy here in Eaglescliffe that has a A4 Estate with hidden Lights, but I am pretty sure he is Paramedic Emergency Ambwilans stuff.

I did by chance also see a silver Grey A3 last night (again in the Yarm area)- Hidden lights on the dashboard / front Screen.

Plod going for Audi's now too ?
