Okey doke folks, there seems to be some interest in this from a few folk on here and also in my Mr2 club so i think we'll get the ball rolling and see what we can arrange.

The last one we had was a great success and we took in some rather tasty roads, a quality pub lunch and indulged in banter a plenty.

1st up, date.

What suits folks best? I'm thinking start/mid July to give us all time to get organised and make it happen. How about Sunday 12th July?

Route.

Will take plenty of suggestions and the final route will be posted out by email to keep things proper.

Cars.

Anyone can attend as long as they're not a cock and don't drive like one.

For anyone who's not been on one of these runs before, it's a nice leisurely drive out with like minded people who congrogate somewhere for lunch and then drive back home. No road racing or prizes for getting anywhere 1st. And DEFINITELY no prizes for binning it.

So stick your name down if you fancy coming along and we'll get this party started.

1 - OlberJ (Mr2V6) (1)
2 - ol - (Golf GTI mk2 or Mk5 GT-TDI)
3 - E46ACS - (M3 CSL)

Think I'll have to give this a miss, looking like the Cooper S needs a new engine frown

I could rock the 525i again though (oh yes, it lives following it's write-off!)...

MINI - It might've ran on not a lot of oil due to a false reading on the dipstick... whistle

BMW - Got driven into the back of. Has a fly-ass wing on the back now though.

That all depends.

Are you, and do you drive like, a cock?

a) Yes

b) No

Get your answer to me on a postcard, or the next post in the thread will do, and we shall make a judgement. smile

According to top gear, I don't drive an Audi and therefore I'm not a cock.

And no I don't think I drive like a cock...

Good man. You passed the test.

Don't worry about keeping up or trying to outdrive anyone (even if you can, there is no point) it's a liesurely drive and speed limits will not be broken.

I'll add your name to the list.

Well the last one we left from Newcastle, got most of the way to Carlisle and then came back along the A68.

So when i say NE, it's more just N. biggrin
