I briefly heard the end of a news storey on TV this morning - something along the lines of 16 new speed camera sites about to spring up across the North East furious

Anyone have any more specific details/knowledge?

Full list, including locations, a total of 16 new cameras. Maybe being installed before reducing speed limits further! in some locations.

Drove up Barrack Road today after reading about this on here. Couldnt see any speed camera on barrack road, so its either very well hidden, or as per usual, they cant do anything right in this town!

Bloody Nazis frown

Article suggests they're mobile camera van sites though, rather than static cameras

Not really - if you know you're approaching one of the sites but not whether there is a camera there or not, how are you going to drive ?
