Well seen this business popping up all over the internet these past couple of weeks, so I thought i would take a drive up to see what all the fuss was about!

Boy was I impressed... Two lads, James and Dave have taken the plunge and done out the front of their dads business and turned it into the first and only detailing shop in the North East.

I popped down on Friday afternoon, and spent around an hour talking to Dave, in which case he invited me back the next day (Saturday) to wash the car and test out some products.

These lads know what they're talking about, Dave, a TVR driver, has tested all the products he sells and can advise on what's the best wax's and polish to use with what colour car.

After spending all today there washing the car, testing the products and just general banter with them both, I would advise anyone who needs any cleaning gear to give them a visit.

They sell everything at decent prices, and are around the same prices as the products you can get online, but you can pick them up locally.

They are based in Chester-Le-Street:

If you go up, tell them James with the Ford Focus sent you, might give you a bit of discount wink

Cheers

James

Just looking at the pictures and the fairly large garage area, I assume they'd do it themselves aswell as supply the products.

I may nip over and have a chat and they can give me some pointers on how to do a proper foam wash smile

They do detailing on site as well sell the stuff. I called up there today as I wanted some paint cleaner for my car, could have spent a fortune if I wanted as they do a full range of products for every part of the car with a budget for all pockets. Had a long chat with Dave, the guy who runs the business, he's more than willing to give advice and sample some of the products. Nice to meet somebody who has a genuine enthusiasm for what they do.

Any BMW drivers are wlecome to the event on Sunday May 17th, but you MUST contact me first so that I can keep track of numbers.

This is a BMW ONLY day, but any BMW regardless of model/age/condition is welcome. We have a good range from E30 318's, 635 Highline, various M3's to E60 M5's coming on the day. So far 15 confirmed cars.

But again, you must contact me if you wish to attend. I have had a few from PistonHeads already confirm so look forward to meeting you all.

Jamz i did what you said, and menioned that 'James with the Ford Focus' sent me, and i was promptly escorted off the premises and barred for life.( just joking mate )

Only went up for a grid for the bottom of my bucket, and was impressed with the enthusiasm shown by Dave and co.

Going up at a later date to have a look around at workshops and TVR.
This company could Pelton on the map (well somebody needs to,don't they)

Regards
Dave

What did you end up doing to it in the end? I think you were just on claying it before I got called away.
