Any recommendations? Ideally local to Newcastle.
Gunther at XO Autosport on the Team Valley had one fitted and set-up last year in his work shop. They usually work on Jap stuff but if its only a run your after I don't think it would be an issue. He is Jurgens brother who runs JM-Imports and has the white GTR that is around Newcastle.
I am arranging a few of us to get together for a group booking at Motorscope in Northallerton. Normal price is £45 per car for the rolling Road, but if I get 10 or more, it drops to £35 per car. If you only want your power output (not any mapping/tuning), then let me know. Currently got 6 or 7 cars and looking at Saturday 30th May.
Dont know if anyone knows about this one but John sleath has one that is a 4wd one and it limit is around 2400bhp. I know its brand new and cost him a fortune. He does group runs. He can set cars up on it or just do power runs and also had an engine bed for v8 to set them up 100%. Take a look. www.john-sleath.com Dont know the prices but im sure he can strike a deal. If anyone phones just say adam with the jeep recomended him. He will see you right. PS. He is next to doncaster so would be a run out aswell
He knows his stuff to and doesnt bullst his way through it either.

Last time i was at VSport (and it is the last time ill be going there) they had the roller shoved into the corner of the garage, tiny fan, and the intake temp for my friends RS was nearly 100 degrees!!!!! Sharply got taken off the rollers and told them to get it sorted.
Ive been to all the rolling roads in the north east, and will only take my car to Motorscope in Northallerton, they are a great bunch of guys and the lad who does the rolling road is good at what he does!

Well someone is confused, but I was at the RR day at M.scope about 2 weeks ago, all the intake temps were sky high causing OTT readings on the dyno, theres a thread on seatcupra.net and Briskoda about their piddly fan!
Last time I was at the place in Boldon (they use a dyno cell, not a workshop) they were using a huge axial fan, about 4-5ft in diameter, about 3x the size of the fan at M.scope.

Just read through the whole Motorscope thread here:
http://briskoda.net/north-east-skoda-meets/north-e...
No mention how bad it was, seems everyone had a good day!
Also read the whole thread on SeatCupra.net, and only one guy saying that his temps were high, but he thinks its to do with his intercooler tbf!!
http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2...
Everyone else saying they had a great day on there too... accurate dyno.....
I cant see how you think the fan they have at Motorscope is tiny, as this is the very same fan they have:

Unlike the one I’ve seen them use at VSport, which looks like its used to blow up bouncy castles.
