Hello, not to familiar with Newcastle, and was wondering how long it would take to get there and how far it is?

We will be getting into the station around 11.30 am on a Sunday morning, any ideas as to how much a taxi would cost or are there any other ways of getting there?

Cheers!

You could get a Metro. From Central Station, get a metro signed for the Airport and get off at Kingston Park station. They're every 8 minutes on a Sunday, and journey should take 18 minutes.

Metro possibly easier than a bus and runs fairly regular.

That does a good job of planning your public transport door to door though.

Hya fella, welcome to my home place kingston park.

Two options

1. Taxi from outside central station to Kingston Park, cost around £12-£13, time around 15 minutes

2. Metro, from directly underneath Central Station to Kingston Park. Get the train signposted the airport, (no changes needed), runs every 15 minutes or so, cost around £2.50, time around 30 minutes. 5 Minute walk to the ground.

Enjoy the rugby !! biggrin

Edited to add other responses probably more accurate than mine - I dont use the metro too often. wink

Its probably a canny walk from the Metro station to the actual ground. You could get a taxi from the station, its right next to a massive Tesco.
