Our clio is due a service shortly, and I'm sick of paying through the nose at the offficial dealer, ends up costing more to service than my Elise. Can anyone recommend a decent inde who could do a bog standard service at a cheaper rate.

Its a new shape clio 1.5 dci, 36k service

Thanks in advance

When I had my AX (many years ago) I used to take it to French Auto Services on Corporation Street, they were always spot on:

Although, now reading that, it looks like they might just be Citroen/Peugeot. Could always give them a call.

I've used Cliffs on several occassions and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Where abouts are you based at?
Forsters Garage in Wallsend are supposed to be decent, a friend of mine gets his Clio 182 serviced there. They're a general garage, similar to Cliffs, but they used to also race Clios and think they now compete in Mini's. They do all the race-prep in the garage so they know their way around a Clio at least

Thanks everyone, will phone the garages suggested above and see what prices they come back with.

Thanks for the pointers.

Sean.

There's a French Specialist at the end of Chilli road. Its the one that usually has a Citroen XM that's been converted into a sign post parked outside.
