Anyone know where to rent a car trailer from?

Will have to be big enough to fit a Impreza on the back.

Cheers

Depends where's convenient for you I suppose. Indespension at Shiremoor will rent you one. Cheapest I found when looking recently was a place near Stokesley http://www.selftowtrailers.co.uk/ You could also look up M&L Trailer Hire in South Shields.

I have borrowed trailers from the place near stokesley a couple of times. Took one to Normandy and back and the other to London, they are good quality trailers and the guy is really helpful, the France trip was a bit of an emergency and he was supposed to be off on holiday but managed to sort one for us.

Apparetnly there is a Fletchers Trailers near Darlington... found this, but its over the other side of the country:

rent a trailer for a week for £60, will have to give them a ring and see how much for a weekend... I was hoping for around £30 for the weekend

You can't rent much of anything bigger than a power drill for a weekend for £30, except maybe a Boro hooker.

Try Allan at AS Motorsports in Birtley. I rented a trailer off him for the weekend a couple of years back for about £40 or so, and it fitted a Legacy on, so an Impreza wouldn't be an issue. As a bonus, he's only a mile or 2 off the A1 sliproad.

I used Willcann in Darlo a couple of weeks ago - 60 for Fri - Mon and easy big enough for the scooby. That includes straps and numberplate.
