I have a Skoda that keeps draining its battery. Can anyone recommend any Auto Electricians in Teesside, preferably of the mobile variety?

Thanks

TH Flory's are very good with electrics if you can manage to get the car into Middlesbrough.

Well what a waste of time that was.

Website says open Saturdays till 3pm but guy on the phone says bring it in by 1pm as they have sufficient room.

Having spent 30 mins driving round Middlesborough after foolishly using the website routplanner (google - yuk!) I finally found it at about 2 minutes to 1pm.

Explained that I had phoned earlier and that I worked away so Saturdays was the only day I could drop the car off. First story was "Sorry - all the locks are on and it will take ages to take them off again" which then changed to "We have had 2 additional cars in since you phoned so there is no room at all".

Very disappointed in the staff's total lack of interest.

So I'm *still* on the hunt for a good Auto Electrician - ideally one with a slightly better level of customer service than Florys. Any other recommendations?

Really sorry to hear about Flory's, customer satisfaction is obviously not high on their list of priorities. frown

God's teeth, are they still going?! They were one of the competitors when I worked in car security/ audio.

Used to be 'over the border' in Middlesbrough. I remember the first time I drove a TVR (a 350i), it was to be stored overnight at Ayton's place as our workshop (by the river in Stockton) had huge glass windows on the front and the boss was worried the car might be a target.
Funny, he was never that concerned when we had brand-new Cosworths, BMW cabrios, Supras etc. in... hehe
This was early '90s...
