I'm hopeless with the ol' spanners so I need a bit of help looking after my Land Rover.

Can anyone here recommend a decent garage to service my Defender? Anywhere in the North East is fine, but I live in Newcastle so I'd prefer somewhere near the Toon.

Feel free to PM me if you prefer (particularly if you have any negative experiences to report). smile

I tend to do the work myself but I've always had good advice and cheap parts from cheviot 4x4

Thanks Carl. They also sound very good, but Stokesley is a bit further for me to travel. Cheers! thumbup

Theres supposed to be an indie service center on the team valley. Probably aimed more at those wanting to keep landrover approved service stamps up to date. Dont have a name but a neighbour swears by them as being shed loads cheaper than the friendly chaps at the glassworks. i have no exposure to them personally but might be worth a search.

Indeed there is:

I had already seen their website and it looks very professional. It also says that they are now a part of the official Land Rover UK Aftersales Network. However, my Landy is now ten years old and, although it has a FSH, this is not all from approved dealer service centres and I'm not convinced I need to pay dealer prices. I just want someone who knows their stuff and can give me value for money.

Any more comments guys? smile
