Joined. Cheers for the heads up. Sad news indeed. This sort of thing seems to be happening all too often.

Sad news indeed hope there is some kind of result on appeal . I for one would miss Croft a great deal and news like this does not bode well for other circuits with noise problems with B@@***ds i mean neighbours.

No matter what you do if it brings a smile to your face, makes you laugh or go warm inside and week at the knees THERE WILL BE SOME bdS TO COMPLAIN, having fun will soon be illegal.
Like i said to my old neighbours IF YOU ONT LIKE IT MOOVE.why do people buy houses near a race track?
i don't like the smell of st from our local sourage works nr massive housing estates but the council let them expand it...by demand
redcar and Cleveland council spent a fortune on the motor park at south bank even wanted it to host international f1 events they boasted in the early days, now they support the residents who complain about noise at bikes and drift events.

I'm sure we could arrange a gathering of suitable cars to accidentally take a regular wrong turn down their driveway on a frequent basis - easy mistake to make. laugh

Too lenient for these people.

Drive a hummer through their front window on a weekly basis until they desist.

FFS, what was the judge thinking?

The idea of mini runs out is sounding appealing.

It wont be closing down.. I had a talk with the owner son, and they are complaining because Croft want to host more public events (currently limited to 40 events a year) but they want to increase this to 60 events a year.

The owners son's grand parents are the one's complaining.. (complicated devorce means the ex wife and her parents live next to the track)

Sounds more like a vengeance feud than a genuine grievance

I have a heavy plant ticket if the offending house needs removing. biggrin

Seriously though, this is the ONLY circuit in the northeast, and goes back to the sixties as a motorsport venue.
I for one am a frequent visitor, and hope to do at least one track day this year.

We really do need to get a petition up/contact MPs, etc.
Anyone have friends in high places ?... because sadly, that's how things work in this country. frown

Joined the facebook group. Possibly going to call down this week on the bike, il drop it down a few gears when going past the locals houses wink

Anyone know where i can find whats going on at Croft, like trackdays, not just events. Iv got some free week days that i wouldnt mind spending photographing the track cars. Thanks.
