Hi folks, the Yorkshire barn weekend is coming to Northumberland this year because it is great!

Location is in Chathill not far from Seahouses and Bamburgh.

http://www.bunkhousenorthumberland.co.uk/

Its the usual plan of action. Get pissed, eat nice food, go to the beach, probably go out to Holy Island. There will also be a big Hoon on the saturday on some of the areas finest roads and up into the borders.

Price is £12.50 per night for the accommodation and you can pay when you arrive (although id need confirmation if you are coming or not)

If you want to just come for the saturday hoon and not stay over then meet at our barn (postcode NE67 5ES) at 12 noon.

Current guest list:

Barn weekend 2 day stopover - confirmed.

Aye I can do that one.

Won't have a hoonable car though (in fact will be shedding it) if anyone has spare seat capability for the hoon I'll be up for that.

Olly.

Great stuff Olly. You can hoon with me or Warren usually takes on the job of hooning people without cars!

I'll add your name to the top list.

Every year about 20 or so of us book a self catering converted barn in the countryside (usually in yorkshire) where we get pissed and talk about cars. We also go for a hoon on the local roads.

Its a great event thumbup

ETA: its always a winter event, something to look forward to in the bleak and bitter months while waiting for the nice weather to start again!

Could you give me some idea of what time and what route over the Borders you are planning.

Cheers

If it is just me & Minimax coming from the Midlands, we will come up in the Skoda. If Rob Polarbert can be persuaded to reconsider, and we get Matt Teaboy on board too, we will all car share and come up in the Bentley.

Anna_S and her friend Elizabeth usually come, but I don't think they are this year. I'm not sure Nicola will be coming either, despite being on the list. Kirsten is on the list though, I don't think I know her?

It is a bit of a lads weekend, but there are oldies like me, and more level headed people too.

You'll be alright smile
