Does anyone know any local motorsports events happening over the Christmas break?

Used to go to see Boxing day autotest run by some of the motor clubs in Cleveland but not fussy about the type of event, rallying, offroading, sprints anything really.

Bugger I've been to this a few times but have a season ticket for Hartlepool United and we play the same day.

According to the entry list I am driving a 6R4 though hehe

I'll be going along. Anyone else going from the Newcastle area, let me know if you fancy a meet up en-route.

Yes. Id like to knock a second or so of it... Even if for some silly reason it isnt any quicker it will certainly look and sound better. It a big block chevy 470ci with littlefield 8/71 supercharger plonked on top. What do you think ? Obviously the wood will need to be replaced with carbs smile

Yes can do. Im hoping to get it ready for easter weekend (last year it snowed)
The only thing is i might not have any proper exhausts on it as funds are at rock bottom now, So im going to make some funny car zoomies for it. Its basicaly a 2" tube out of each port that will drop down about 15" then a slight up turn so the sound is in ya face. So it will be loud but beggers and choosers come to mind wink
