Nasty Looking Crash On A1 North

When i was driving down from my metes at newcastle just before sunday lunch time there was a pickup that had gone down the bankside ino the railings. There were a few police, ambulances and a fire engine. It looked as if the railings had gone through into the cab. Didnt look very good and the air ambulance was waiting for the injured too. I think it was a little bit futher north than the 689 turn off.
Anyone know anything about it of heard how the injured are. Ok i hope as it didnt look very mild.
